Our Story

Scott and Lin Sawyer have been dairy farming at this location since 1977.  They added quality beef in 2018.

The farm was certified Regentified in 2024 for animal and soil health practices. Regentified is a practice that  protects our planet from the negative impacts by restoring what was lost, including soil health, biodiversity, economic stability, and climate resilience. 

 Regenified’s solution is not to conquer nature, but to collaborate with it.

 Our animals are  born and raised on the farm here in Lewis County. All animals are grown naturally. No growth hormones or antibiotics used to promote growth. Our calves are raised by their mom's in open pastures. 

Our animals are raised with all the fresh air, sunshine and grass nature can provide in beautiful southern Lewis County, NY. Animals are grass fed and grass finished, no grain. Grass has been grown with no herbicides or chemical fertilizers. 

All winter feed is grown, harvested and stored here on our farm.
